Short Term Educational Programmes
Introduction
Allama Iqbal Open University introduces short term educational programmes (STEPs) which is a novel study plan for the students who want to improve their professional learning and working skills in a field of their own choice at any time, at any place and at their own convinience and pace.

How Does it Work

  • Apply any time through out the year. Prospectus is available at AIOU main campus in Islamabad and at Regional Offices
  • Within 30 days you will get study materials that include a Book, a study guide, an evaluation paper, feedback proforma. Audio Video aids are also available on payment.
  • Minimum study time for a course is 3 months. However you may take longer as per your convenience.
  • An evaluation paper at the end of course will enable you to get a certificate.
  • Please don't forget to fill in the feedback proforma and send it back together with the evaluation paper.
  • You may take as many courses at a time as you can manage.
  • You may also take these courses with your regular university study programmes.
For Whom
Everyone is welcome. There is a variety of courses and you can choose suitable courses for your personal and professional development.
 
Fee

Rs.350 per course (including cost of the reading material, supplementary material, evaluation paper, certificate).
Registration fee Rs.100 (payable if you are not already registered with the university).
