SSC Home Economics Programmes
Introduction
Home Economics Programme focuses on the development of knowledge, attitude and competency needed by people as they interact with each other and their environments. This programme will provide educational foundation to the students interested in pursuing higher degree in Home Economics. Moreover, it encourages individuals to enter into a range of technical fields.
 

Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria of students are eligible for SSC Home Economics Programme

  • A candidate having middle school certificate is eligible for admission in SSC Home Economics programme. The candidate must be 14 years old or above. The programme is in Urdu language.

Minimum Four semesters (Two year)

AIOU credit requirement

Eight full AIOU credits*
Total Teaching hours for each course (27 hrs)
Practical work for selected courses (30-40 hrs)
