| Introduction: |
B.A Mass Communication cluster program offered by the AIOU for the first time in the country in 1988. The program consists of eight-credit course work covered by nine courses and is completed in two-year duration. The mode of teaching of this program is correspondence package including course books and allied material, forth-nightly tutorial, assignments, radio and television programs. The medium of instruction of the program is Urdu. A great number of students across the country are taking admission in the program. Enrollment in all the courses of this program is about 6000 per semester. The program is offered twice in a year (Spring and Autumn). Admission to the program is open for those having higher secondary education pass certificate. board/recognized university of Pakistan.Nine courses of the program cover almost all of the aspects of mass communication phenomena. There are two options for the students.
