Students' experiences

Mrs. Hajra Ahmad:

I am one of the students of 1 st batch of M.Phil Food and Nutrition. Besides being a student, I am also on faculty strength as academician of Food and Nutrition for last 15 years in the same University. I have been exploring for higher education opportunities in the discipline of my choice throughout my career, but couldn’t get any. M.Phil Food and Nutrition Higher Education Link programme was a ray of hope for me in this disappointing situation. I got admission in August 2003 and now I am heading towards my research work. During this period I also got the opportunity to visit Dundee University with the objective of capacity building and exposure to foreign universities. It was a great opportunity for me to meet faculty members, PhD students and research students at undergraduate level. It broadens my vision and horizon of knowledge in this discipline of Food and Nutrition.

It is really interesting for me to indulge myself in learning activities which was my endeavor for last many years.

Now this programme has been extended to PhD in Food and Nutrition. I pray for the force behind this programme and wish I could complete this with best of my health and energies.
