Biostatistics deals with collection, tabulation and analysis of biological data. Biostatistics is routinely used to drive biology experiments. Data is gathered and analyzed before, during, and after a biology experiment, with the intent to come to some form of logical conclusion. Students will learn about introduction & scope of biostatistics in biology, frequency distribution, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, experimental design, statistical data, sampling, measure of central tendencies, measures of dispersion etc. |
